Remedy: Install a substantial obstruction, such as a screen or strategically placed large greenery outside the entrance, to mitigate the adverse effects of this arrow-like configuration.
2. The Inhaling Elevator, where the entrance is directly aligned with the elevator in urban abodes, symbolically inhales the residence’s vital energy with each opening and closing. This violates the principles of “concealing wind and harboring qi.”
Remedy: Preferably avoid residences with this layout. If already acquired, mitigate its impact by placing a large screen near the entrance or incorporating sizable leafy plants, such as money plants or wealth trees, to attract prosperity.
3. The Pervasive Door, wherein upon opening, an internal pathway is exposed, revealing the lowest point of the dwelling. This not only disrupts the flow of energy but also compromises privacy. In Feng Shui, it may lead to extramarital affairs or elopements, disrupting tranquility and impeding wealth distribution.

The southeast of the residence should be expansive for optimal lighting and ventilation, designated as the “Wealth Door” in Feng Shui. A cramped or shaded southeast area disrupts energy circulation and closes the “Wealth Door,” hindering financial prosperity.
The orientation of the kitchen holds significance, as it represents the element of fire. In Feng Shui, kitchens situated in the northwest, west, and north regions are unfavorable. A northwest kitchen impacts the health of male occupants, while a west kitchen adversely affects marital relationships. A north-facing kitchen hampers the financial prospects of male residents.
Give due consideration to the positioning of toilets, which represent the water element. In Feng Shui, toilets in the northwest, west, and north areas are inauspicious. A northwest toilet negatively impacts the physical and mental health of male occupants, a west toilet attracts detrimental romantic entanglements, and a north toilet compromises the financial fortunes of male residents.
Exercise restraint in the abundance of indoor greenery. Excessive plants contribute to increased indoor yin and dampness, hindering yang energy. Particularly, vining plants obstruct sunlight, casting shadows that amplify indoor yin energy.
Excessive greenery not only jeopardizes financial fortune but also adversely affects the occupants’ overall well-being, inducing symptoms such as insomnia, vivid dreams, and heightened anxiety during sleep.
